About Us

At Umoja Health, we are united in the drive for equity and access to quality food and better health for all.

Umoja Supply Chain Solutions is now Umoja Health.

Our evolution to Umoja Health represents our true mission and the work we have done from the start. We believe in a holistic approach to health, and that access to optimal nutrition plays an integral part in the physical, mental, and social wellbeing of every individual. Our Food For Health, Nutrition Security, Government, WIC, Meal Program teams, and the backbone operations of Umoja have been dedicated to achieving the equity and access we speak to in our mission. As Umoja Health, our brand and our name better embody the core of the work we do, the partnerships we forge, and the impact we‘ll continue to make.

Who We Are

In Swahili, Umoja means "unity"

We apply our proven expertise in food & logistics to support hunger relief, reduce food insecurity and address social determinants of health across the country.

An Innovation Mindset

Our creative, customizable solutions are fueled by our talent, data, expertise, powerful ecosystem, and backed by our commitment to our customers. More families can access nutritious foods through our WIC home delivery platform. The lives of people living with chronic conditions receive our Food For Health programs, meeting them where they are with quality foods for better health. Children who rely on their school for breakfast and lunch can access delicious quality food throughout the summer with our SFPS boxes, fueling future generations. And so much more. As a minority-owned business, we think globally and inclusively. Our team mirrors the wide range of backgrounds and cultures that we serve, enabling us to connect with our partners in a more personal way and provide innovative ways to improve lives.
