Background

Todd Avery, President & CEO for Umoja Supply Chain Solutions, is responsible for all aspects of the Company strategy, growth plan, customer satisfaction and day-to-day operations. Todd has more than 25 years of industry experience in CPG and Food Supply Chain Logistics. Prior to joining Umoja, Todd was CEO for McLane Global a $400M+ food distribution & 3PL company. In addition, Todd was the Senior Vice President, Operations and Transportation for ProPacific Fresh where he managed all operations (Procurement, Manufacturing, Human Resources, Information Technology and Supply Chain) for 6 fast paced facilities. 

Todd has held other leadership positions in the industry such as Interim CEO for Certified Grocers-Midwest, Director of Operations for C&S Wholesale, and Vice President of Operations for Imperial-Dade Paper. He has a strong track record of developing highly skilled & efficient teams that scale organizations quickly, including several of his own entrepreneurial ventures. Todd is a member of the Baylor Supply Chain Advisory Board mentoring the next generation of supply chain professionals. He holds a B.S. from Ferrum College in Finance, Management, and Decision Support Systems.
