Background
Corey McLendon serves as General Counsel of Umoja Supply Chain Solutions where he provides legal advice to the organization’s executive team; setting the strategy and implementing strategic goals from a legal perspective, while limiting risk exposure. Corey brings 17 years of experience handling complex legal transactional and compliance matters, working for large law firms, and most recently as a senior counsel at Simon Property Group where he was the legal lead for the company’s The Mills platform and its restaurant franchising operation.
Corey holds a B.S. in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and a J.D. from Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law.
Corey also supports several local and national philanthropic efforts including Meals on Wheels, Renew Indianapolis (where he currently serves as a Board member), HVAF of Indiana and the United Fund.
